Jean Valjean, released on parole after 19 years on the chain gang, finds that the yellow ticket-of-leave he must, by law, display condemns him to be an outcast. Only the saintly Bishop of Digne treats him kindly and Valjean, embittered by years of hardship, repays him by stealing some silver. Valjean is caught and brought back by police, and is astonished when the Bishop lies to the police to save him, also giving him two precious candlesticks. Valjean decides to start his life anew.
Important information - Silver tickets in rear Stalls have a minor overhang warning from the Circle. Bronze seats may have a restricted or side view.

From June 18th, Danielle Hope from the BBC's Over the Rainbow will take over as Eponine, and Tam Mutu, who previously understudied the Phantom in Love Never Dies, takes the role of Javert. Finally, Argentine star Gerónimo Rauch takes the reigns as Jean Valjean.

After finishing as the Phantom in Love Never Dies earlier this year, Ramin Karimloo will take over from Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean. Boe's final performance is on November 26th, and Karimloo takes over on November 29th.
