Show details :
The majestic stage adaptation of Disney’s much loved animated movie, The Lion King, will take you on an epic adventure to the Pride Lands of Africa. Here, you will follow the birth of King Mufasa’s son, Simba and his gripping journey to be the King of all lions.
When Simba is born, the kingdom rejoices with the exception of Scar, Simba’s evil Uncle who is fuelled by his desire to be master of the throne. During a stampede of wildebeests, Scar takes over the kingdom by tricking young Simba into exile. Visitors on our Lion King theatre breaks will see Simba’s transcendence into adulthood as he makes new friends and lives in a distant desert as an outcast. When his childhood friend Nala arrives with news of their homeland suffering, Simba must decide whether or not he can go back and confront the past he wished to forget.
