Stomp is a show of rhythm. There are no words or musical numbers, in the traditional sense. Instead a volley of rhythmic drum beats are built up and stripped down in a complex and exhilarating show, built on group chemistry and one-upmanship. The dance and drumming is tightly choreographed, while still allowing the dancers to stamp their individual mark on this fast paced show. The enthralling performers use an array of objects in order to create this symphony of percussion, famously dustbins and brooms but including all manner of everyday objects.

When you arrive at The Ambassadors theatre and take your seat for the show, you are unlikely to know exactly what to expect but you will know that you are about to witness a performance of percussive excellence and rhythmic complexity.

Interesting facts :
- The ideas and scenes of the show originated 10 years before its premier with a street band called Pookiesnackenburger
- One such pre-Stomp incarnation of these ideas became a famous Heineken commercial with drumming binmen
