Reviews for Forbidden Broadway at the Menier Chocolate Factory:
5 Stars: “There’s just no question that this is the funniest show in London at the moment. Forbidden? It’s so outrageously good it should be illegal.” – Time Out
4 Stars: “It’s an institution of New York theatreland and this updated version is sure to rack up a sizeable number of fans in London” – London Evening Standard
4 Stars: “There is something so irresistibly preposterous about the expiring wheeze of a vastly overblown musical being vigorously punctured that even if you had somehow missed every one of the shows satirised by Forbidden Broadway, you would still find yourself weeping with laughter at its precision-engineered ridicule.” – The Telegraph
The Vaudeville’s not a large theatre, so sitting in the Upper Circle to get budget seats isn’t too bad for cheap theatre breaks to see Forbidden Broadway. Try to stay central. We’ve also heard row D in particular has a good angle of sight over the safety rail at the front.
