Our Once theatre breaks will take you to the achingly beautiful streets and bars of Dublin, where one young Irish singer-songwriter’s path is about to cross with a Czech woman, and both of their lives will be changed forever. Adapted from the beautiful, Oscar-winning 2006 Irish film, Once is about two young people brought together by their passion for music, their romance breaking all the boundaries of their contained lives.
Once follows a nostalgic love story, which is also an incredibly innovative, surprising and tender tale of two people who find peace with one another in the bustle of the modern world. As the pair hurtles together, they’ll discover that the path of love never really did run smooth.

Once theatre breaks are suitable for children aged 4+
Every performance of Once has discounted tickets except Thursday matinees and Saturday nights, making weekdays the preferred option for cheap theatre breaks. However, with some extremely lengthy exclusion periods on the horizon, you may find yourself needing to book the Upper Circle for a break on a budget. Central rows G and H are preferable due to low cost and steep slope, though be careful if you’re bad with heights.
