Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme – you’d better get me to school on time! The hit film School of Rock takes the West End by storm this October. Failed rocker Dewey Finn runs out of money and gets kicked from his band, so he does what anyone would do, and masquerades as a schoolteacher to pay the bills. When he finds himself at a prestigious prep school, he decides to teach the kids something extra-curricular – how to rock! Can the group win the upcoming battle of the bands? Will Dewey pay his rent? Awesome music, feelgood fun – what’s not to like? School of Rock’s already a runaway Broadway success, so expect to be dancing in the aisles to classic rock tracks and enjoying a story full of laughter and fun. It’s a rags to riches tale that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and there’s guaranteed to be at least two children playing instruments twice their size. We can’t wait.
