The Illusionists – Witness the Impossible, the world’s best-selling touring magic show is coming to the Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End this Christmas. With The Illusionists – Witness the Impossible theatre breaks you get to see seven of the world’s greatest magicians perform some mind blowing magic, deft sleight of hand and acts of breathtaking wonder. The Illusionists is the most successful magic show in Broadway’s history and this show has jetted around the world breaking box office records from Sydney to Dubai.

What to expect from The Illusionists: Witness the Impossible

A fast paced show, full of funny and amazing magic tricks with death defying stunts that will mesmerise the audience. The show features 2015 Britain’s Got Talent runner up, The Magician - Jamie Raven in his West End debut. The show also features other illusionist characters The Escapologist - Andrew Basso, The Inventor - Kevin James, The Deductionist – Colin Cloud and The Warrior – Ben Blaque all set to wow in their own mysterious ways.

Interesting facts about The Illusionists: Witness the Impossible

The first known book of magic tricks was The Discoverie of Witchcraft by Englishman Reginald Scot published in 1584.

A founding figure of modern entertainment magic was Frenchman Jean Eugene Robert Houdin who ran a magic theatre in Paris in 1845. The most famous escapologist Harry Houdini based his stage name on him.
