Taking you back in time to 1940's Pearl Harbour, From Here to Eternity is sure to be an action-packed and utterly gripping theatre break!

Based on the 1951 novel by James Jones, From Here The show tells the story of the blues-singin’ boys of G Company who are desperately trying to make a life for themselves in an army base where love, lust and temptation are never too far away.

Private Prewitt falls for the kind and tender Lorene, an escort club girl who works near the base. Meanwhile, Sergeant Warden, Prewitt’s superior, is conducting a dangerous liaison of his own with Karen, the wife of his commanding officer.

With the threat of war and rising passions, the lives of the four lovers are sent down paths completely out of their control, and the real conflict the soldiers face is from the very brothers they are sworn to protect.

Interesting facts about From Here to Eternity

This is Tim Rice’s first work in musical theatre since his astounding revival of The Wizard of Oz in 2011, where he worked again with Andrew Lloyd Webber
Both the novel and the film were met with widespread acclaim, and the film has been preserved in the United States Library of Congress National Film Registry
Darius Campbell, playing leading man Warden, first gained fame in 2001 when he appeared in TV talent show Popstars, and was voted to the final of Pop Idol a year later
