The Snowman

The Snowman Theatre breaks

About the show

In 1978, Raymond Briggs’ picture book “The Snowman” was released, and began a festive tradition as endearing as Christmas pudding or settling down to the listen to the Queen at 3pm. From that book sprang the Channel 4 feature film of the same name, reliably appearing on our screens every December 25th - and from there came the stage version of this captivating Christmas tale featuring a young man, his magical new friend and the adventure of a lifetime.

The show runs every year at the Peacock Theatre in London, and the 2016/17 run is on sale now. The Snowman theatre breaks are available to book online. However, if you are booking with children, you should call us directly on 01482 221 256, because we can get hold of some amazing family discounts, giving you the perfect Christmas adventure.

What to expect from The Snowman

The stage version of this enchanting story has aspects both new and familiar. Dialogue is minimal, but a soaring version of “Walking in the Air” will delight both young and old; while two new characters are introduced. Look out for the Ice Princess and the evil Jack Frost!

There can be no better way to get yourself into the Christmas spirit than with this classic tale of a young man in in a snowbound wonderland. You can combine your trip to the theatre with one of our top-quality London hotels, ensuring you a comfortable break in the capital.

We’ll save you both time and money by providing the ideal accommodation in London – and why not also add our great value rail tickets  to really take the hassle out of organising your stay?
